Here is our home filing system. It took a long time to figure things out but I am happy at the outcome. Now everything is neat and orderly. We like to keep almost all of our paper documents. The key to successful filing is consistency and also detail to information. Before shopping for your filing supplies, take a look at your files, how you want to categorize your files and what you're looking forward to achieving. Sometimes cheaper isn't always better if it doesn't fit your lifestyle. Some filing supplies can be on the more expensive side. However, it will be well worth it if your filing system can withstand the test of time and if it keeps everyhing streamlined. I had to take out some of our files for privacy issues.
